The sliver of yellow arc at the edge of the image is a small portion of the smallest circle centered around the Sun in the modified European Space Agency's (ESA) Milky Way map, a circle with a radius of 750 light years. The base grid parallels the galactic plane, and lies 357 light years below the actual galactic plane.
